The amazing mandarins paper was created as a toile effect paper, an intricate design of little oriental islands with trees and pagodas. It is a half drop repeat which makes it a relaxing print to look at, straight repeat would look too regimented for this kind of design. The wallpaper would be so pretty in a bedroom, hallway or even downstairs cloakroom. There is lots of interest and detail in the pattern but it will not take over the decoration of a room because it is mainly one colour. This design is simple to match with other fabric pattens. You could team it up with geometrics, stripes and even florals. Amazing Mandarins would add a charming and traditional touch to many areas of the house.
